One of my favorite things in the world to do is read to little kids. Not just my books, ANY books. When I let that slip to the owner of my hometown bookstore, a weekly children’s story hour was born! So now, every Thursday at 10:30 a.m., you’ll find me in the children’s section at Barrington Books in Rhode Island, reading some of my favorite titles by my favorite authors and illustrators. Each week, we read 5 picture books around a theme, and then do a simple craft related to the stories. From dinosaurs, to trains, to cats, to cars – there’s always lots of giggling, wiggling and rollicking read aloud fun! So, if you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and see us!
